and can actually make us not do so well! It can originate from places in our past and then haunt us and influence us all our lives. The self-critic is that voice in our heads that says really shitty things to us. We can feel like we can’t live without it, that it protects us, makes us achieve things, keeps us sharp, the list goes on. All this might feel true, I know it does and has to me. However, starting to take charge of the self-critic and listen with a more critical ear to see if what is has to say is helpful or not, can help us more.
