This was wonderful to read this morning!

I am not good at social media because I do not enjoy it, but the pressures of being a self-employed small business owner makes Social Media marketing a very lucrative reality. If you want to bring in those clients (and it's all up to you, babe) then one of the best tools to use are the more popular Social Media platforms.

My Instagram isn't very good either. I, too, have gone between the desire to learn it better and do more with it, but the resistance in my body causes me to freeze up- even when I try to post more frequently for the sake of visibility. How will people know what I can do for them if they do not see me or know that my services are available to them?

Being told that it's ok not to want to do it-

That it can in fact even be healthy for the state of our psyche-

The reminder that living in the moment and slowing down is what's really important in life.

Well, for that I have to thank-you, Jane. I really needed that!

Hi Jessica, I have a love-hate relationship with Instagram. The problem with it is the the mysterious algorithm that changes all the time. You may only get in front of 2 people! It feels so much effort for me at the moment. That will probably change! I think giving ourselves choices rather than I should/must is much more powerful in motivating us to do what is important in the moment.

I agree, completely.

Sometimes it can take hours to fashion a good quality post and then if the algorithm isn't on your side, it could only be seen by a handful of people.

I like to offer "Pay What You Like" sessions sometimes, either because I feel guided to or because I'm just in the mood to do more of what I love. I know that there are people who may not be able to afford the expense of a Psychic Reading and want to try and make it as accessible as possible for people- despite the fact that we all have bills to pay. This is my way of getting to see some of those people and provide the guidance they need. Any gratuities they decide to offer me are just a bonus (I would do them for free, if need be).

These should be snatched up quickly.

The post I made to offer them only brought me one person. I'm grateful for the opportunity to get to work with her, but there are others that could have also benefited from the offer. The problem was that there was no visibility. I struggle to stay motivated when creating for Instagram.

You've said it all beautifully. The choice is much more powerful. That falls in line with being in touch with your own intuition in a way. Because if it doesn't "feel" right, don't do it! :D
